Solar and Air-Source Central Hot Water Engineering for the Integrated Production Building of China Telecom Henan Company

The Need:The total construction area of China Telecom Building Comprehensive Production Building project is 52733 square meters, including 35639 square meters of above ground construction area and 17094 square meters of underground construction area. The main building has 13 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. In order to meet the needs of normal production and life, it is planned to install solar and air energy central hot water projects.

The Challenge:Identify the areas and locations within the company that require hot water, and calculate the approximate daily usage of hot water. Consider using an air source water heater, which has good energy efficiency, is suitable for large-scale hot water supply, and is relatively environmentally friendly. The company has idle roof space that can be combined with solar water heaters to utilize renewable energy and reduce operating costs.

Device config:

★High and central areas: 30 flat-plate solar collector+3 10 horsepower ultra-low temperature air source heat pumps+2 4-ton Hot water storage tank

★Low zone: 2 sets of 20 horsepower ultra-low temperature air source heat pumps+1 set of 6-ton Hot water storage tank

Working principle:

Solar priority: On sunny days, the solar collector heats water and stores it in the water tank.   

Air replenishment: When there is insufficient light, the air source heat pump starts to continue heating the water in the water tank.   

Constant temperature water supply: By using a circulating pump to maintain the flow of hot water in the pipeline, instant heating can be achieved.

★This project adopts intelligent temperature control, timed switch, and energy consumption monitoring to achieve automated operation.
